11" (28 cm.) h. 11"l. A bisque head doll with blonde sculpted hair and painted facial features has wooden block torso, metal hands looped to hold carriage handle bar, metal legs with disc-jointing at legs, metal feet, antique costume, and is attached to a tin and cast iron three-wheeled carriage which, when wound, causes the girl to lift her feet up and down moving the carriage along. Condition: very good, doll excellent, carriage finish original albeit a tad worn. Comments: from the original patent design of William Goodwin, circa 1875. Value Points: good early toy with well functioning works, appealing appearance.
