Description
6" (15 cm.) and 9". Polychromed terra cotta sheep with sculpted curly wool coat, painted nose and mouth and outlined enamel eyes are posed standing with inclined head or resting with legs curled beneath. Excellent condition except repair to leg attachments on the larger. Neapolitan, mid-1700s, attributed to Francesco Gallo.
