Waist-up bisque figure of handsome young lad having sculpted short blonde hair with bangs and sculpted shirt front with large blue bow tie, painted facial features, blue eyes, closed mouth with petulant expression, muslin upper arms and legs, painted hands and feet with painted yellow shoes, wearing black velvet Sunday best suit. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Germany. Comments: Hertwig, circa 1910. Value Points: rare character model with uniquely sculpted hair and bodice, expressive features.
