Solid domed bisque socket head, brown glass inset eyes, painted lashes, rose blushed eye shadow, brush-stroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with outlined lips, suggestion of teeth between the lips, pierced ears, original blonde mohair wig, original composition and wooden body with loose-ball-joints at shoulders and hips, wearing original muslin chemise and slip, peach satin costume included. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 919 SH 6. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1888, the model is previously undocumented in German Doll Encyclopedia by Cieslik. Value Points: the extreme rarity of the model is rivaled by its beauty, superb luminous complexion, and virtually unplayed with condition.
