17" (43 cm.) Bisque shoulder head, blue glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, brush stroked brows, accented nostrils, open mouth with slightly parted lips, four porcelain teeth, brunette human hair over plaster pate, kid gusset-jointed body, bisque forearms, wearing antique blue wool sailor suit and cap, boots, and carrying wooden toy miniature rocking horse. Condition: generally excellent, three finger tips chipped. Marks: 7. Comments: Kestner, circa 1895. Value Points: fine quality bisque on the early model child.
