15" (38 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, brown glass inset eyes, lushly painted lashes, brush-stroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with center accent line, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, kid poupee body with shapely torso and derriere, stitched and separated fingers. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 2 (head and shoulder plate). Comments: Gaultier, circa 1875. Value Points: pristine unplayed with condition, the poupee has original wig, earrings, necklace, and wears factory original muslin chemise and pantalets, lovely bisque and very sturdy and clean original body.
