Description
4" (10 cm.) l. smallest. Each is paper mache egg-shaped candy container, three with rich silk covering and separating at the middle for access to interior candy, the fourth with cut-out "shell" opening revealing a small all-bisque baby hidden inside, the egg resting on grassy ground under a tree branch. Each piece is richly decorated with ruffles, cord braid, or silk flowers. Very good to excellent condition. Germany, circa 1890.
