
22" (56 cm.) l. x 11"h. A five-sided dollhouse room with windows at angle walls has its original wall and floor papers, hanging gas chandelier, and four matching wall candle brackets. There are original lace curtains with wooden valances and a pair of felt/flannel bear rugs. Seven pieces of rare wood-grained painted tin furniture comprise upholstered chair and chaise, dessert buffet, mirrored armoire, lady's desk, marble top table, and a very rare piano with winding musical mechanism. Numerous accessories include ormolu clock with figural statue, and another clock under its original glass dome. A bisque-headed dollhouse lady and gentleman in original clothing live in the room. Excellent condition. Germany, circa 1890, the originality of the room is rivalled by the rarity of its furnishings.
