21" (53 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-lined bisque shoulder plate, blue glass enamel inset eyes with spiral threading, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accented lips, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, muslin stitch-jointed body, bisque lower arms. Condition: generally excellent, body is German albeit properly sized and of the correct era. Marks: 5. Comments: Gaultier, circa 1875. Value Points: lovely antique cotton lavender gown with lace inserts, watch and fob, jewelry, undergarments, leather shoes.
