9.5" (24 cm.) Solid domed bisque shoulder head, blue glass paperweight-like inset eyes, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth, accented pouty-shaped lips, pierced ears, auburn mohair wig, early composition and wooden fully-jointed body. Condition: old hairline extends fully around head at forehead level. Comments: Sonneberg, circa 1885, the model closely resembles the Bru bebe whose market it attempted to capture. Value Points: most endearing little doll with wonderful expression and painting, great old grey woolen boys suit with pocket and fob, pet puppy.
