22" (56 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head, blonde sculpted boyish hair with forelock curls, intaglio dark blue eyes with white eyedots, black upper eyeliner, short feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth in laughing expression with shaded lips, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique costume of velvet jacket, short pants, black stockings, saddle shoes. Condition: generally excellent, small paint rub on nose and cheeks. Marks: Heubach (sunburst) 7647 Germany. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1912, Value Points: rarer model with superb detail of sculpting especially laughter lines around the eyes and mouth; included is early velvet bulldog with glass eyes and painted features.
