16" (41 cm.) Pale bisque swivel head on kid-lined bisque shoulder plate, cobalt blue glass enamel inset eyes, painted lashes and lightly feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accented lips, pierced ears, brunette human hair over cork pate, French all-wooden body with shapely torso, dowel-articulation at shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips and knees, pivot-jointing at upper arms and thighs, antique gown and undergarments included. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Pierre-Francois Jumeau, circa 1875. Value Points: beautiful expression enhanced by fine delicate bisque, brilliant eyes, rare all-wooden body.
