Description
48" (122 cm.) h., 45"l. Carved wooden horse in prancing pose has brown glass eyes, and sculpted detail of saddle and circus decorations including tasseled bands, and harness with applied brass studs. The brightly colored fanciful horse is presented on a custom wooden platform attached with brass pole. Structurally excellent, painted finish good albeit typical repainting. Late 19th century.
