A wooden stage with decorative paper and paint has brass turning handle, and is centered on top by a velvet-covered circular dance floor upon which a bisque boy and girl are posed, each with glass eyes, mohair wig, painted shoes and socks and wearing original costumes. When handle is turned the dolls dance around in a circle and music plays. Condition: generally excellent, mechanism and music function well. Marks: G.K. 44-15 (dolls). Comments: possibly Zinner and Sohne, circa 1895, utilizing Kuhnlenz bisque doll heads, the toy was sold by the Vienna toy store of Wilhem Pohl whose stamp appears on the bottom of stage. Value Points: enchanting toy with delicate movements and music, original papers, paint, costumes well preserved.
