3" (8 cm.) l. carts. Comprising a woven egg-shaped basket containing three hand-carved and painted miniature Easter carts, viz. pair of roosters pulling cart of eggs, pair of brown dogs pulling a stagecoach driven by a rabbit with Easter eggs atop, and an egg-shaped cart with bunny rider; along with two miniature decorated wooden eggs and one egg cup with rooster painting, and with larger decorated wooden egg. Excellent condition except paint wear on larger egg. Germany, Erzgebirge, early 20th century.
