Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, blue glass spiral-threaded inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brush-stroked feathered brows, accented eye corners and nostrils, open mouth, outlined lips, four porcelain upper teeth, brunette human hair, pierced ears, one piece muslin torso and upper legs with gusset-jointed hips, wooden rims at bottom of upper legs and upper kid arms that attaches to the ball-joint of the composition lower arms and legs. straight wrists, muslin chemise. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 224 9. Comments: Bahr and Proschild, circa 1888. Value Points: beautiful doll with rare original body model, along with trunk with large trousseau of antique hand-sewn costumes.
