13" (33 cm.) Each having solid domed bisque socket head with painted blonde baby hair, painted facial features, painted blue or brown eyes, black and red upper eyeliner, accented nostrils, closed mouth modeled as though open, composition bent limb baby body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 10, Comments: Hertel and Schwab, circa 1915. Value Points: the twins, identical excepting eye color are perfectly preserved with fine original body and body finish, excellent bisque, one wearing dotted Swiss baby ensemble, the other in knitted romper suit and holding teddy bear, each with bone-handled baby rattle.
