7" (18 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso, blonde sculpted hair loosely waved away from face, behind the sculpted ears, into loose curls that are captured by a high braid at the crest decorated with black hair band, painted facial features with characterized expression, hint of smile, peg-jointed upper arms, string-jointing at elbows, peg hip-jointed legs, bare feet, antique chemise and pants included. Condition: reglue at right upper arm, break with missing small piece on left lower arm (hidden inside jointing), typical small flakes at upper leg rims. Comments: Germany, circa 1865. Value Points: extremely rare early all-bisque whose appealing face is enhanced by rare coiffure and virtually never-found body style.
