12" (30 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head with sculpted pointy top knot and side curls, otherwise bald pate, blue glass side-glancing googly eyes, painted lashes and lightly feathered brows, tiny button nose, closed mouth with shy comma-shaped smile, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, wearing antique cotton sailor suit. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 240 0. Comments: Marseille, circa 1920. Value Points: wonderful character with choice quality of bisque, sculpting and painting.
