19" (48 cm.) Bisque socket head with deeply defined character features, painted facial features, blue eyes, thick black upper eyeliner, painted lashes, tapered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with full lips in pouty expression, shaded lips, dimpled chin, brunette human hair, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique sailor costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R 114 49. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1910, the model "Hans" from their art character reform series. Value Points: especially fine quality of sculpting and fine lustrous patina of bisque.
