8" (20 cm.) Solid domed bisque shoulder head, brown glass inset eyes, painted lashes and brows, closed mouth with center accent line, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig with delicate braids, original muslin stitch-jointed body with bisque lower arms and legs, bare feet. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: S 2/0 H. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1885. Value Points: rare model with exquisite facial modeling, original rare body, wearing early rose flannel dress, undergarments and tiny leather shoes, and presented in glass-front box with a beautiful assortment of antique and antique-style costumes and accessories.
