39" (99 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, dark painted lashes, thick brush-stroked and feathered brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, open mouth with outlined lips, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, brunette human hair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent, body repaint except original finish on hands. Marks: 1079 17 S&H dep. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1895. Value Points: finest quality bisque enhanced by prominent chin dimple, wearing superb antique boys costume along with high leather boots, straw hat, toy drum and toy sabre.
