14" (36 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass paperweight inset eyes with rich spiral threading, thick dark eyeliner, mauve-blushed eyeshadow, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body with straight wrists, antique costume, bonnet, leather boots. Condition: generally excellent, light cheek rubs. Marks: 6 (head) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1880. Value Points: gorgeous eyes and eye decoration on the early model bebe.
