Bisque swivel head on kid-lined bisque shoulder plate, almond shaped blue glass enamel inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, delicately arched brows, rose blushed eye shadow, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accented lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, on twill-stretched-over-wooden body with shapely torso, dowel-jointing at shoulders, elbows, hips, knees and ankles, bisque lower arms, wearing antique muslin dress with embroidered trim, undergarments, very fancy leather heeled boots. Condition: generally excellent. repair on right bisque arms and fingers. Marks: 6 (head and shoulders). Comments: Gaultier, circa 1875, the body style is unusual on this doll, more commonly found on early Simon and Halbig fashion ladies. Value Points: beautiful large poupee with rare body, wonderful costume.
