24" (62 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, dark eyeliner, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with richly accented full lips, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R Simon & Halbig 117/A 62. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1912, the wistful-faced child marketed as "Mein Susser Liebling" (My Sweet Darling). Value Points: wonderful condition of the beautiful doll with lovely bisque, impressed dimples around mouth, original body finish, wearing white pique original dress with makers label G. Lemmer Olmutz, undergarments, cream kid shoes, straw woven bonnet.
