9" (23 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso, blue glass enamel inset eyes, painted lashes and feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth with outlined lips, two square-cut upper teeth, one square-cut lower tooth, peg-jointed bisque arms and legs with very musculature detail, sculpted bent elbows, defined knees, tiny ankles, painted knee-high bright blue socks and black seven-lace heeled boots, antique aqua silk dress, undergarments, straw bonnet with blue velvet lining. Condition: generally excellent, two tiny finger tip chips, typical flake at right leg stringing hole. Marks: 102. Comments: Kestner, circa 1890. Value Points: rare model in fine large size, superb body modeling, unique facial expression.
