15" (38 cm.) Solid domed bisque shoulder head with pink tinted bisque, painted blonde short boyish hair with sculpting highlights, painted facial features, narrow squinting dark blue eyes, black upper eyeliner, short stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth in sculpted crying expression with defined gums and tongue, kid gusset-jointed body, bisque forearms, antique sailor costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 5 Germany. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1910. Value Points: among the rarest of the Heubach characters, having superb detail of sculpting featuring defined scowl lines in forehead, and cheek frown indentations.
