Bisque socket head with rich brown complexion, brown glass sleep eyes, dark painted lashes, black brush-stroked brows, sculpted eye crinkles, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, outlined lips, two porcelain upper teeth, tongue, black mohair wig over plaster pate, black brown composition bent limb baby body, wearing antique knit suit, booties and cap. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: k made in Germany 14 245 JDK Hilda 1040 1914. Comments: Kestner, circa 1914. Value Points: virtually unplayed with condition of the gentle-faced child whose rare brown complexion has flawless patina, exactly matches the original body finish
