27" (69 cm.) Bisque shoulderhead with very plump face, small cobalt blue glass inset eyes, thick dark eyeliner, painted lashes, arched feathered brows, mauve- blushed eyeshadow, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with outlined lips, unpierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, kid gusset-jointed body with gusset-jointing at hips and knees. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French, circa 1860, attributed to Barrois. Value Points: gorgeous complexion with delicate blush on eyelids, cheeks and chin accentuated by brilliant cobalt blue eyes, original wig, pate, body, and wearing original linen costume, undergarments, leather shoes, and black velvet toque.
