27" (69 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eye liner, painted dark lashes, brush-stroked and feathered brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with defined space between the shaded and outlined lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body, lovely antique costume dress,undergarments, leather shoes, lace and silk ribbon bonnet. Condition: generally excellent, hands repainted, chip at back side of left ear lob, body appropriately sized but not original. Marks: S 15 H 939. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1895. Value Points: wide-eyed child doll with closed mouth has lovely bisque and sculpting, well-detailed costume.
