Description
24" (61 cm.) l. bunny holder. 9" standing bunnies. A paper mache brown bunny with painted eyes, nose and whiskers has hollow opening on its back in which are stored seven standing bunnies (four grey, three brown, each with black bead eyes and sculpted red and blue hat. Condition: very good/excellent, original finish. Comments: French, circa 1880, the parlor "jeu de quilles" bowling sets were immensely popular toy items produced by various French firms in the last half of the 19th century, being created in a variety of forms. Value Points: charming toy with endearing facial expressions, rare to find in complete state and with original finish.
