21" (53 cm.) Bisque socket head, dark blue glass sleep eyes, painted dark curly lashes, dark eyeliner encircles the eye sockets, short feathered brows with sculpting detail, accented nostrils, open mouth, shaded lips, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, nicely costumed in antique dress with tatted lace trim, undergarments, leather shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: S&H 1279 Dep Germany 9. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1912. Value Points: rarer model with expressive features, unique impressed dimples in cheek centers and bottom lip, original body and body finish.
