Description
2.5" (6 cm.) Opaque glass perfume bottle in the shape of Golliwog body, having Golliwog head stopper with dimensional and painted characteristic features, black sealskin original hair, decorated black dot original bottle neck and shaped ball feet, original paper label with hand design labeled "Le Golliwog de Vigny Paris France". The storybook figure perfume bottle is preserved in its original labeled box with magenta silk fitted lining, and retains a small amount of the original Vigny perfume. Excellent condition of the rare object. French, circa 1920's.
