18" (46 cm.) Bisque socket head, painted facial features, blue eyes, white eye dots, thick black upper eye liner with short fringed lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accent line between the lips, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K&H (in banner) Germany 526 6. Comments: Kley and Hahn, circa 1912. Value Points: very fine quality of bisque and painting, original body and body finish, wonderful antique costume comprising cotton pinafore dress, undergarments, red kidskin shoes marked C.M., socks ink-lettered Julia A. Bartlett, possibly the name of original owner.
