Carved wooden socket head with elaborately sculpted facial features and ears, strong nose, glass enamel eyes, painted complexion and features, early hand-tied human hair wig, similar body construction to #74 with padding to enhance the costume presentation and heavy cast iron articulation hinges. Condition: generally excellent, original finish well preserved. Comments: French. Value Points: very appealing carved wooden doll with rare original body, original costume comprising knit body leggings with attached shoes, homespun undergarments with embroidered detail, quilted double-sided skirt, patterned blouse, shawl, bonnet.
