9.5" (24 cm.) Paper mache milliner's bust features a lady in the flapper style with richly decorated black eye shadow encircling her side-glancing brows eyes, blonde painted hair in short pixie fashion, painted bodice with label "Mado" on front and the script name P. Clerc on the side. The base is removable for access to the surprise candy container box. The figure is wearing an earlier lace bonnet with silk ribbons, circa 1885. Excellent condition. Circa 1915.
