Description
14" (36 cm.) l., 25" overall. An elegantly carved wooden coach with open top is painted soft rose and blue with rose and scroll details, resting upon a wooden frame that is attached to large wooden spoked wheels with four gilded carved dolphins. There is a driver's station at the front, and a footman's platform at the rear, and a long wooden handle. Excellent condition. Late 18th century. A rare toy in beautifully preserved original condition and paint.
