Description
11" (28 cm.) One-piece all-bisque figure of young girl in standing pose against a knoll, with sculpted blonde hair, painted side-glancing eyes, closed mouth with dimpled cheeks, arms posed to the side and holding a fur-edged muff, with sculpted blue winter coat trimmed with fur, ruffled bonnet, blue slippers. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: although unmarked, the figure is unquestionably by Gebruder Heubach, circa 1890. Value Points: excellent detail of costume style and decoration.
