15" (38 cm.) Bisque socket head with ebony black complexion, sculpted boyish short curly hair, painted facial features, brown intaglio side-glancing eyes, large black pupils and white eye dots, black painted brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth in broad smile, painted suggestion of teeth between the lips, black composition and wooden ball-jointed body, well costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 4 Heubach (sunburst) 7669 Germany. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1910. Value Points: rare model with rich complexion tones, fine detail of sculpting.
