Description
26" (66 cm.) Carved wooden donkey with light brown fur cover has inset glass brown eyes, carved nose, stand-up ears, wooden hooves, tail, and elaborate harness with red wool tassel trim and a woven wicker saddle seat with leather straps to attach to the donkey and red felt flannel upholstery and wooden foot rest. Very good condition of the rare animal toy with wonderful accessory pieces. French, circa 1885.
