Standing upon a velvet-covered base is a bisque-headed girl with blue glass eyes, mohair lashes, painted lower lashes and brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, shaded lips, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig, carton torso and legs, bisque forearms; she is wearing her original aqua silk dress with lace and bead trim, matching bonnet and slippers, and holds a glass perfume bottle and hankie in her hands. When wound, the doll turns her head from side to side, nods, then dabs perfume onto her hankie and lifts the hankie to her nose, while music plays. Condition: generally excellent, mechanism and music function well, left thumb reglued. Marks: 1300 S&H (head) LB (mechanism key). Comments: Leopold Lambert, circa 1895. Value Points: appealing and well-preserved luxury automaton with original costume.
