30" (76 cm.) Bisque socket head with golden brown complexion, large brown glass sleep eyes, dark painted lashes, black painted brows with feathered highlights, open mouth, shaded lips, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, black mohair wig, brown composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Germany Heinrich Handwerck Simon & Halbig 6. Comments: Handwerck, circa 1900. Value Points: rare large brown-complexioned child has original body and body finish, lovely consistent complexion, wears antique costume comprising cotton dress, undergarments, stockings, leather shoes and bonnet with interior label "The Little Beauty".
