25" (64 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, brush-stroked and multi-feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, shaded and accented lips, two teeth, blonde fleeced hair over plaster pate, composition bent limb baby body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Q made in Germany 20 237 JDK Jr. 1914 c. Hilda. Comments: Kestner, circa 1914, their signature trademark doll of that year. Value Points: outstanding quality of bisque, sculpture, and painting on the large model of the gentle faced child, preserved in absolutely pristine condition in its original wooden packing box.
