Description
22" (56 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, incised eyeliner, short feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, shaded and outlined lips, two porcelain upper teeth, tongue, blonde fleeced hair wig over cork pate, composition five piece baby body, well costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: JDK 226 made in Germany. Comments: Kestner, circa 1915. Value Points: excellent bisque and painting, original fleeced wig, pate, body, body finish.
