23" (58 cm.) Bisque shoulder head with blonde sculpted hair waved away from face into pageboy curl low on shoulders and decorated with a sculpted black snood edged with gilt-edged Dresden ruffle, modeled bodice with collar and blue glazed bow, painted blue eyes, black and red eyeliner, single stroke brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accent line between the lips, old muslin body, kid arms, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent, typical chips around ruffle edge. Comments: Germany, circa 1875. Value Points: rarity factors include snood, ruffle, modeled bodice with blue bow that exactly matches the blue eyes.
