14" (36 cm.) Bisque shoulder head with blonde sculpted hair in ornate coiffure having braided coronet, forehead curls, and long looped curl at the back of head held by black band, sculpted white collar with unusual looping tie at the front, cobalt blue glass enamel inset eyes, dark eye liner, accented nostrils, closed mouth, pierced ears, muslin body, bisque lower arms and legs, fancy painted tan boots with brown trim, beautiful ivory satin gown. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1875. Value Points: rarity factors include fancy coiffure, glass eyes, pierced ears, fancy boots, and sculpted collar.
