Description
6" (15 cm.) Solid domed bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, cobalt blue glass inset eyes, painted lashes and brows, closed mouth with hint of smile, accented eye corners and nostrils, blonde mohair wig, original muslin body with with bent bisque arms to above the elbow, bisque lower legs with bare feet, original cotton night shift. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: (unusual illegible ink inscription on back shoulder plate). Comments: Simon & Halbig, circa 1880. Value Points: beautiful early swivel head doll with original body in near mint condition.
