10" (25 cm.) Paper mache shoulder head, black sculpted hair drawn about the back of head into coiled braided bun, painted facial features, large blue eyes, closed mouth, slender kid body, wooden lower limbs, painted green flat slippers, antique costume. Condition: very good, nose rub, typical age lines. Comments: German, circa 1850. Value Points: appealing coiffure, original body, being sold from the estate collection of Madeline Merrill.
