.22" (56 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head with sculpted and painted baby hair, detailed forelock curl, brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, short feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, shaded and accented lips, two porcelain upper teeth, tongue, composition bent limb baby body, nicely costumed in Sunday Best suit. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R Simon & Halbig 127 56. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1912, from their art character series. Value Points: especially fine quality of bisque and sculpting enhanced by fine matte bisque, original body and body finish.
