Description
18" (46 cm.) h. 20"l. Of paper mache with flocked flannel covered face and legs, blue glass inset eyes, painted nose and mouth, leather ears, and lavishly covered with thick curly lambswool. French, circa 1880, possibly Schanne, the noted French manufacturer of children's toy animals, as described in Encyclopedia of French Dolls, volume II. Excellent condition.
